London ⏤ 27th July 2017 ⏤ Weevolve announced today the winner of the first edition of The X-Reality Challenge, that was organised as part of its VR In Marketing / London event. The contest aims to encourage brands, media agencies and creative professionals to use immersive technologies for marketing and customer engagement.

The winner of the first edition of The X-Reality Challenge is Barclays Eagle Labs, for their VR idea A Day in the life of an Entrepreneur.

The idea consists of a VR experience to showcase how a small shop owner can use Barclays’ products to grow their business. It was transformed into a room-scale VR experience in collaboration with VR studio Wolf In Motion and was available to try today by the attendees of the event.

Weevolve also thanks all the companies that participated in the contest and thanks the VR studio Wolf In Motion for transforming the winning idea into a real VR experience and having it ready on the day of the event in a record time.

VR Marketing London is a series of evening events where Virtual Reality experts and marketing professionals meet to talk about the applications of VR in marketing, try VR marketing demos, network, and share knowledge through talks, workshops, and panel discussions.

It’s organised by Weevolve VR, a London-based startup developing an online platform to create virtual reality experiences very easily.
